Corrobo (short for corroboration) was founded in 2015 by startup advocate Aaron Horn. Aaron found himself constantly catching and correcting spelling and grammar mistakes on slide decks, business plans, brochures, and even restaurant menus. He also found himself being asked to “rewrite” important communication for folks and double checking tone. As a mentor for startups, he realized that missing these details can make a big difference on the impression they give when dealing with potential partners, customers, and investors. It went way beyond proofreading as he is able to share insight in addition to the spelling and grammar suggestions. Be sure to check out the Services and Pricing sections to see what Corrobo has to offer.
Aaron earned his degrees in Management Information Systems and Entrepreneurship from Iowa State University. He is passionate about his family, he is passionate about technology, he is passionate about the nonprofits he serves (Beat Cancer Today, Candlelighters NYC, NewBoCo, and Miracle Travel Works), he is passionate about startups, and he is passionate about serial commas. He is also passionate about communication setting the right tone, being complete, and being error free.
